KALLES x Designtorget
Unique and playful vase that is just as lovely to look at both with and without flower arrangements. The shape of the vase takes inspiration from the color and shape of the caviar tube and pays tribute to Kalles who turns 70. Handmade in stoneware by ceramist Eva Gassner Jeckelmann at Swedenland ceramic studio. Inspired by the used Kalle's caviar tube, Eva has tweaked the vase to get the same feeling.
The ceramic shape playfully mirrors the tube, which looks different every time you use it. The glaze gives a hint to mimic the texture, shine and maybe even the color changes that occur when the tube is used. This can result in various visual effects, such as creases, dents and color variations, similar to how a real Kalles Kaviar tube changes when squeezed and consumed.
