Höganäs Keramik is part of the Swedish coffee hour. Or the coffee break as it is called when the work stops for a while between colleagues. Höganäs Keramik came into being in 1909, when they began to manufacture utensils in Skåne's Kullabygden that can withstand and retain heat. Despite the constant replenishment of new coffee habits, Höganäsmuggen is today the signal for "now it's time for a break".
