In 1957, Folke Andersson tasted potato chips for the first time, during a boxing match in New York. It was the best thing he had ever eaten. Folke decided to start producing potato chips at home in Sweden. Ever since that day, Estrella have done everything to be able to give you Sweden's tastiest snacks, everything from peanut rings to lentil chips. They have refined the recipes and used improved ingredients. They have tried new spices that have become completely new flavors, for example they were the first makers of Sourcream & Onion chips which are still the Swedes' favorite chips.
