Maggie Wibom was a sculptor, ceramicist and pioneer in her field during the 1920s and 1930s, working for Bo Fajans, Gefle Porslinsfabriks AB and S: t Eriks Lervarufabriker to found her own company Stockholms Keramik AB in 1938. At Gefle Porslinfabriks AB, she created eleven stoneware figures with a bold shape and robust charm. She glazed them with a thin creamy white faience so that the reddish-brown stoneware shone through.
