An important part in the fight against poverty is to involve women to a greater degree in the economy and in the labor market. This is one of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and something we are keen to support. In countries where coffee is grown, women are often left with limited opportunities. Amigas are made from beans from coffee farms run by women.* By having long-term commitments with women growers, we encourage them to invest in their farms and their communities at large. As a result, coffee quality improves, as do livelihoods and living conditions.

Amigas is a dark roasted coffee with a fresh and nutty taste, and has a generous and long balanced aftertaste. The coffee is KRAV certified, organic and Fairtrade certified. The coffee consists of 100% Arabica beans and is roasted fossil-free.
