Kockens Green Pepper, Freeze dried - 10 grams

Green pepper comes from the same plant as black and white pepper and are unripe fruits. The pepper is harvested unripe and in order to keep the green color, they are usually preserved by either freeze drying or put in a layer (usually salt layer or vinegar). The taste is aromatic, has a softer and more nuanced character than both black and white pepper, but still with a pleasant heat. The freeze-dried grains are light and crunchy and not nearly as harsh as black or white peppercorns.

Green pepper goes well in sauces, meat dishes and for grilling.
