Now with an improved and more comfortable fit and a smooth knit for an elegant look and a soft finish.

If you suffer from swollen/tired legs and varicose veins or if you want to prevent these problems before they appear, Mabs Mama tights are for you. The tights have graduated compression which increases blood flow in the legs, which in turn counteracts fatigue, swelling and varicose veins.

During pregnancy, the blood system transports 20% more blood than normal. At the same time, hormones make the veins more elastic and give way more easily. Add to this the fact that the uterus presses on the veins. The result is that every second woman has problems with varicose veins during her first pregnancy. Regular exercise and the use of compression stockings early in pregnancy reduces the risk of varicose veins and blood clots. Tights are an easy way to maintain style in the office as in your free time while also counteracting swelling and feeling more refreshed when you get home.

Material: 84% Polyamide, 16% Elastane

To find your sock size and to ensure the fit is perfect, there are three measurements you should take as a basis (in the order below). Remember to measure yourself in the morning before your legs or feet swell.

1) The circumference around the ankle where it is narrowest (A).
2) The circumference around the calf where it is widest (B).
3) Your shoe size (C).
4) The maximum circumference of the thigh (D).

How do I put on my compression stockings?

Make sure the sock is straight and put your hand in all the way to the heel.
Turn the sock inside out and down to the heel.
Stretch the shaft and put the sock on the foot. Make sure the heel is straight and that the sock is not twisted.
Turn the sock shaft back and pull it up along the calf.
Pull it up to about 2.5 cm from the knee crease.
Stay-up socks and tights: pull all the way up.

To get maximum durability of the sock, it should be machine washed after each use. This restores the sock's elasticity and thus a good pressure. Machine washing removes, for example, skin deposits better than if you just hand wash it.
