The sing-along chocolate. Wonderfully creamy milk chocolate with a fine sprinkling of crunchy sea salt. A mixture of sweet and salty that sticks in our taste buds like a summer hit.
As unabashedly proud as Stockholmers feel when the choir leader in the blue jacket sings about their city, we get just as happy when we think of this chocolate. It's time for milk chocolate's revenge. Because this combination, which is filled with extra Peruvian cocoa and a sprinkling of the finest sea salt, is an irresistible mix of sweet and salty. Long live the milk chocolate in our heart.
The chocolate is organic and fair trade, as well as free from nuts, soy and is gluten-free.
DRINK SUGGESTIONS
A good rule of thumb is that lighter chocolate goes with lighter wines and lighter beers. Therefore, a semi-dry to sweet wine, preferably natural wine, with soft acidity and fullness or a fresh and fruity beer is a winning combination together with this chocolate.
White wine from Germany, for example a Riesling. If you are not a wine lover, you can enjoy a cold lager or wheat beer with the fine chocolate. The drinks get a caramel saltiness from the chocolate, which is also soft and lovely. The interaction between drink and chocolate is a perfect end to a good dinner.
Tea suggestions:
A black tea with natural sweetness that creates a taste symbiosis between sweet and salty. Or a green tea with floral tones that contrast the saltiness. Example Jasmin Tea, the light chocolate is lifted by a light green tea that is naturally flavored with floral and fragrant jasmine.
