Nybro glassworks started production in 1935.
During the 30s, 40s and 50s, mainly consumables such as plates, plates, glasses and bowls were manufactured. Shoe cream jars were also a product that was manufactured in large volumes!
During the 60s and 70s, glass details were manufactured for the forging and lamp industry. Knobs and handles for kitchens and bathroom fittings were big sellers during this period.
During the 80's, a collection of sports prizes was formed, which among other things meant that Nybro Glasbruk became a proud supplier to two Olympic Games, Lake Placid in 1980 and Sarajevo in 1984.
In the mid-80s, one of the mill's biggest successes was launched, a glassware with a marine theme. The series "Bohus" is one of the company's most famous collections and is found in many homes in
our elongated country.
In the late 80's, golf prices developed in glass, which became a great success in large parts of the world throughout the 90's
